BEYOND BIG MOVES
This workshop will focus on tackling the mind-games that often occur when bouldering both indoors and outdoors, especially when trying climbs that exert a lot of power and require big movements.
We will focus on dynamic movements and analyse the importance of body position and timing when executing forceful, cruxy moves. We will explore pushing our mental barriers to climbing through a series of exercises that aim to make powerful moves more accessible, doable and fun.
This workshop will encompass exercises that focus on the importance of engagement with footwork, coordination and power in the development of more dynamic, technical climbing. Most of all, the workshop will create a safe space for women to jump around and try big, go-y moves and discuss mental barriers to bouldering.
